Richard Presley "Shot" Hutto

Richard Presley “Shot” Hutto, 81, of North, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Unity Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Hutto officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 PM in the church.

Mr. Hutto was born in Neeses, S. C., a son of the late Richard Hutto and the late Nellie Davis Hutto.  Mr. Hutto was a loving husband, father and papa.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Patricia A. Jackson Hutto; daughters, Lori H. (Tommie) Williamson, Stacy Cook and Dora (Chuck) Strickland; sons, John (Bonnie) Hutto and Randy (Debra) Hutto; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one niece.  Mr. Hutto was predeceased by a son, Richard “Marty” Hutto and a sister, Virginia Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Strickland, Freddie Rice, Jr., Lester Rice, Logan Strickland, Gavin Cook and David Franz.

Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, North, S. C. is assisting the family.
