Willie Melvin “Uncle Bud” Williamson, 81, of North, SC, died Thursday, August 25, 2016. A graveside service will be held at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 4:00 PM.A celebration of life will be held at the home of Catherine and Freddie Stabler, 514 Ezra Jumper Road, Swansea, SC on Sunday, August 28, 2016 beginning at 4:00 PM Mr. Williamson was born in Lexington County, SC a son of the late Willie Albert and Maggie E. Shumpert Williamson. Survivors include sons, Jimmy (Pam) Williamson, Terry Williamson; daughters, Catherine (Freddie) Stabler and Brenda (Glenn, Sr.) Hutto; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three brothers.He was predeceased by a granddaughter and two sisters. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome) of North is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
