Willie G. “Dinky” Wise, 90, of Swansea died Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Swansea with the Rev. Deborah Gibson and Rev. Bruce Rucker officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Wise was born in Swansea, a son of the late W. J. M. and Bertha Mae Wise.He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Wise of the home, a son, Richard E. (Donna) Wise; a daughter, Wanda Rabon Sweatt; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother, Truman (Joyce) Wise; a sister, Essie Keough and a number of nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a son, Willie G. Wise, Jr., brothers, W. D. Wise, Newman Wise and Leon Wise; sisters, Addie Howard and Seany McBride; two son-in-laws, Tommy Rabon and Ken Sweatt. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home of his son, 1840 Pine Plain Road, Swansea.
