William O'Neal Livingston

William O’Neal Livingston, 72, of North, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 30, 2018, at North United Methodist Church with Rev. Marie Ray and Rev. Matt Rucker officiating.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mr. Livingston was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, a son of the late Eugene Glenn and Imogene Dougherty Livingston.He was a member of North United Methodist Church, where he served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and was active in the Men’s Club, and the Administrative Board.He served a brief time in the U. S. Navy.Mr. Livingston was a member of the North Jaycees, on the Board of Directors of the Williston Telephone Company.He was a Lieutenant with the North Fire Department and served as Mayor of the Town of North from 1990 to 1999.He was the owner of Livingston and Company. Survivors include his son, Christopher O’Neal Livingston; grandsons, Garrett O’Neal Livingston and Grant Patrick Livingston; sister, Pam Livingston Everett of Asheville, NC; brother, E. G. Livingston, Jr. of Orangeburg and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home.
