William Kay Harley (or as most knew him, Bill), age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC. Born to Louise Harley on August 17th, 1940 and raised by Lucia and Ozelle Harley, Bill spent most of his free time fishing, trying to grow rose bushes, or bothering the ladies who worked at his local Piggly Wiggly. After serving in the US Army from 1959 to 1968, Bill dedicated 34 years of his life to the elevator construction trade and in 2004, he and his late wife, Helen, retired and had the joy of spending most of their time with their grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his daughter Deborah, his son Darrell, his 12 grand and great-grandchildren and all his friends and family who loved him A remembrance service will be held at the church that he was a member of, North Pentecostal Holiness Church, on February 4th, 2022 at 2pm. In his famous words, his family would like to tell him… “Love you, Bye Now!”
