William Robert Emmett

William Robert Emmett, 69, of North, S. C. passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

A Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM, with a Memorial Service beginning at 3:30 PM, Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, North, S. C. 29112.

Mr. Emmett was born in Clayton, Georgia, a son of the late Clifford Charles Emmett and the late Miriam Frances Mason Emmett.  William was a member of Sunny Vista Church of God, loved Clemson football and the Atlanta Braves.  He was a family man and loved spending time with his granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann Chavis Emmett; a daughter, Layla Morphy; a son, Weyland Emmett; grandchildren, Miracle Morphy, Laycee Morphy and Addelynn Morphy; sisters, Cynthia (Richard) Jackson and Joanne (Joe) Tripp; many beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Mr. Emmett was predeceased by two brothers, Steven Emmett and Larry Emmett.
