William Christopher Davis

William Christopher Davis, Jr., 88, of Swansea, died Saturday, November 20, 2016. Born in Caples, West Virginia, he was a son of the late William C. and Kate Snyder Davis, Sr. From 1946 to 1955 Mr. Davis was a medic in the US Army serving in Korea, Japan, and Germany. He was awarded a Bronze Star. Mr. Davis enjoyed reading and fishing as well as spending time in nature observing wildlife. Survivors include his wife, Myra Davis; children, Llewellyn Browder (Fred), Anthony Davis (Rita), Wendell Davis (Ann), Michael Davis (Gail), Sonja Davis (Charles Sharpe); a granddaughter of the home, Autumn Marshall (Charles); nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and brothers, John Davis and Morris Davis. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 28, 2016 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North, SC.
