William Manning Addison, Sr.

William Manning Addison, Sr., 81, of North, S. C. passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, 332 Rocky Grove Road, Salley, S. C. 29137 with Rev. John O’Cain officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Addison was born in North, S. C., a son of the late John J. Addison and the late Corina Sturkie Addison.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Joyce Addison; son, Bill (Amy) Addison; daughter, Aimee (Tom) Kibodeaux; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Jo Addison; step-son, Tim (Heidi) Hoffman; step-daughter, Joy (Chris) Smith; grandchildren, Nick (Chelsie) Addison, Austin Addison, Jonathan Addison, Corey Addison, Thomas (Mariah) Kibodeaux, Keri (Chandler) Knight, Andy Hoffman, Drew (Loree) Jeffcoat, Alan Michael Jeffcoat, Jasmine Jeffcoat, Christopher (Alexandra) Smith, Joshua Smith and Paul B. Hoffman; great grandchildren, Emma Kibodeaux, Riley Kibodeaux, Brayden Knight, Ryland Smith, Mari Jeffcoat, Maya Jeffcoat, Kaliha Jeffcoat and Alanna Jeffcoat; sisters and brothers, Robert (Brenda) Addison, Mary Courtney, Barbara Holliday and Joe Addison and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Addison was predeceased by a son, James Wendell Addison and a stepson, Jody Brian Hoffman.
