Wayne Theron Brown

Wayne Theron Brown, 83, of North, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North with Bubba Creech and Acia Lee Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Bull Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday. Mr. Brown was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late John D. Brown, Sr. and Dorothy Edna Jeffcoat Brown. He was a member of Bull Swamp Baptist Church and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was loved by all but more so by his daughters. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, M.J. Brown; the mother of his children, Betty Jean Brown; daughters, Jeanie B. (Rob) Whitemyer, Kitty B. (Richard) Miller, Mary B. Nance, Cynthia “Cindy” B. Mallios and Dorothy “Dottie” B. Larrabee; six grandchildren, Candice Lawson, Britt Brown, Lauren Lynch, Jeffrey Nance, Summer Garber and Dakota Larrabee; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bobby Brown, Mickey Brown, Danny Brown and Linda Brown. He was predeceased by siblings, Jackie, Toby, Larry, Betty, Ellen, Christine and Angie. Memorials may be made to Bull Swamp Baptist Church.
