Violet Dixon Bolin, 90, of North, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, First Baptist Church of North with Rev. Rick Jones and Rev. Larry Shull officiating.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North.The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Mrs. Bolin was born in Leicester, England.She was retired from Stone Manufacturing Company.She was a member of First Baptist Church of North where she was a former nursery worker and a member of the Deborah Sunday School class.She was married to the late Windred M. Bolin. Survivors include four sons, James M. (Sheryl) Bolin of Fleming Island, Florida, Stuart D. (Nancy) Bolin of Neeses, Dennis L. (Judy) Bolin and Cal W. (Michael Ann) Bolin both of North; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.Special friends Doris Bolin and Becky Williams. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home, 619 Livingston Avenue in North.
