Vera Humphries Addison

Vera Humphries Addison, 71, of North, died Friday, Oct. 4. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the First Baptist Church of North with Rev. Rick Jones and Rev. Brett Mask officiating.Burial will be in Livingston United Methodist Church Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Addison, Thomas Kibodeaux, Austin Addison, Jonathan Addison, Steve Salley, and Jimmy Lee Young.Honorary pallbearers will be current and former deacons of First Baptist Church of North. Ms. Addison was born in Ridgeway, a daughter of the late Lewis and Evelyn Humphries. She was a former employee of First Citizens Bank. Ms. Addison was a member of the First Baptist Church of North where she participated in the XYZ Club and the Livingston United Methodist Church UMW. Survivors include two sons, Bill (Amy) Addison and Wendell (Cheryl Jo) Addison of North, one daughter, Aimee (Tom) Kibodeaux of North; six grandchildren, Thomas, Nicholas, Austin, Jonathan, Keri and Corey all of North; and one brother, Randy Humphries of Pickens. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Monday, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home of Bill Addison at 263 Addison Rd., North, SC. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of North Children’s Music Ministry or Livingston United Methodist Church UMW.
