Ms. Trudy L. West, 64, of Columbia, SC, died Saturday, October 28, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Sardis Baptist Church.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Ms. West was born in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Russell and Peggy Ramey West and was a 20-year police veteran with the Prince George’s County Police Department in Maryland. Survivors include a son, Thomas Jewell and daughter, Natalie Kulick; grandchildren, Sarai Jewell, Tristan Jewell and Christopher Jewell.She was predeceased by a son, Paul Jewell and sisters, Helen King and Theresa White.
