M. Todd Copeland, 47, of West Columbia died, Saturday, August 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at St. Timothy Episcopal Church, 900 Calhoun Street, Columbia, SC with Rev. David Bridgeforth officiating, assisted by Rev. Tula Henson.Burial will be in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery near North, SC. The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Copeland was born in Columbia, a son of Gerald “Boodie” and Rhonda Moore Copeland.He was a member of St. Timothy Episcopal Church and a member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. Survivors include his wife Kristina, of the home; a son, Colin Moore Copeland; a daughter, Sarah Beth Copeland and a step-son, Benjamin Agostini; a brother, Joe (Amanda) Copeland; his father and mother-in-law, Dean and Marj Carmine; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.He was pre-deceased by a sister Angela C. Young. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home of his parents, 945 Hydrick Road, Swansea, SC. Memorials can be made to the Copeland Children’s Education Fund at Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union in Columbia.
