Timmerman G. “Tim” Mack, 84 of Pelion, SC went home to be with his Lord on November 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Calvary United Methodist Church in Swansea with Rev. Matt Rucker officiating.Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 PM, one hour before the service. Tim was born in Swansea, the youngest child of the late John Mack and Annie Bell Mack Bowden.He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 156.He retired from Civil Service at Fort Jackson and later worked at Shumpert’s Grocery in Pelion during his retirement.He always enjoyed helping with the Pelion Peanut Party. Survivors include a sister, Christine Knight and numerous nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his wife, Edelle Fogle Mack; a brother, John B. Mack and sisters, Vondine Cloessner and Iris Grant. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM before the service at Calvary United Methodist Church.Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following the service.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
