Thomas L. Merritt

Thomas L. Merritt, Sr., 87, of Swansea passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2019 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Pangburn officiating. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Swansea. Mr. Merritt was born in Bridgeton, N.J., a son of the late Thomas W. and Emma Thomas Merritt.Mr. Merritt was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, loved gardening and golfing. Survivors include his wife, Irena Pearl King Merritt of the home; children, Robert Joseph (Monika) Merritt, Gary W. (Diana) Merritt, Viki (Michael) Pangburn, Kimberly (Bill) Pierson and David Paul Merritt; siblings, Daniel D. (Nelda) Merritt and Mildred (Dominic) Rodriguez, Joy Thomas, Wren Florence (Steve) Maiorana and Dee Merritt; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by a son, Thomas L.
