Ted Monroe Marchant

Ted Monroe Marchant, 70, of Swansea, S. C., entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 11, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family and is with his Lord and Savior now. Graveside Services will be held at 6:30 PM, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 3705 Cope Road, Norway, S. C. 29113 with Pastor Mark Crumpton officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, Saturday, July 13, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, 4541 Savannah Highway, North, S. C. Ted was born on October 26, 1953, a son of the late Jim and Betty Marchant. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Surviving includes his wife of 47 years, Janice Enoree Marchant; his children, Travis L. (Lacey) Marchant and Amy L. (Glenn) Mathis; a sister, Debbie (Charlie) Brickle; two brothers, Ray (Libby) Marchant and Ronnie Marchant; one grandchild, Carson L. Marchant; one niece, Kimberly (Gibran) Ameer; his Aunt Mary Murphy and many loving cousins. He retired from FN Manufacturing in 2017 where he had many friends. The family would like to thank the Hospice Staff and all the nurses and staff at Lexington Medical Center.
