Stanley David Turner

Stanley David Turner, 74, of Swansea, died Friday, April 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, April 25, 2016 at Salem Baptist Church with Pastor John Reeves officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 P.M. Pallbearers will be Presley Proper, Travis Millaudon and four grandsons. Mr. Turner was born in Rockwood, TN, a son of the late Garland and Mayme Patterson Turner.He served eight years in the Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran stationed in Thailand. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Peele Turner; children, Dee (David) Branham, Pam (Buddy) Gilbert-Martin and Stanley “Butch” (Marlena) Turner, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Chase, Jake, Brent, Brandon, Bradley, Kaitlyn, Landon and Blease; and also nine surviving siblings. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) in North and other times at the home of Mrs. Sarah, 310 Peele Ct., Swansea.
