Shelby Davis Rutland

Shelby Davis Rutland, 84, of Norway, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 3, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, 594 Calvary Church Road, Neeses, SC 29107 with Rev. Ken Jernigan officiating.  The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North.

Mrs. Rutland was born March 4, 1940 in Neeses, SC. She was a daughter of the late Garnett H. Davis and the late Fannie Williams Davis.  She was retired from DHEC, Denmark and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen (Janice) Rutland, Michael (Stacie) Rutland, Keith (Christy) Rutland and Kevin Rutland; a daughter-in-law, Vivian Rutland; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Johnson; and brothers, Clyde Davis and Larry Davis.  She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy J. Rutland; son, Roy Rutland; grandson, Brian Rutland; sisters, Eva Mae Hallman, Ramona Sapier and Jeanette Templeton; and brothers, Woodrow Davis and Monroe Davis.

Pallbearers will be Jason Rutland, Caleb Rutland, Reid Rutland, Myles Rutland, Daniel Rutland and Garrett Wade.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.
