Our precious little angel, Sawyer McKenna Pou, beloved daughter of Joseph and Franki Jumper Pou, of Swansea, SC, passed gently into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 1, 2021. Arriving 13 weeks early, Sawyer was born on December 16, 2020.Amazingly, weighing only 1lb. 15oz., Sawyer was able to grip her Mama’s finger and respond to her Daddy’s voice during her brief time here on earth. She had beautiful dark “Kaigler” hair with her Mama’s looks and her Daddy’s nose.Sawyer was a fighter and fought hard for 17 days to stay here with her family, but our Lord had other plans for her.Despite her short time here, Sawyer was deeply loved and brought joy and happiness to all those around her. In addition to her parents, survivors include her maternal grandparents, Frankie and Jane Jumper of Swansea; paternal grandparents, Charles and Becky Pou of Sandy Run; Uncle “D”, Clyde Darryl Jumper of Swansea and Uncle Chuck Charleston Pou of Charleston; Aunt Ariana Pou of West Columbia; maternal great-grandparents, McCoy and Esca Jumper of Swansea; paternal great-grandfather, John G.
