Sarah Argoe Sharpe

Mrs. Sarah Argoe Sharpe, 82, of Pelion, died Friday, December 6, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, Dec 11th, 2024, at St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church in Swansea with Rev. H. Larry Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Sharpe was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Mckenzie and Ruth Argoe.  She was a member of the St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Sarah loved her family and loved Jesus.  You were never a stranger in her home.

Survivors include her two sons, Dwayne (Angela) Sharpe and John (Diane) Sharpe; brother, Paul Argoe; a sister, Delma Argoe; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, brother and sister in-laws.  She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Sharpe; her son, Stanley Sharpe; two brothers, Maxie Argoe and Johnny Argoe; and two sisters, Betty Holder and Linda Mook.

The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am prior to the funeral service at St Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church in Swansea.
