Sallie W. Wise, 92, of Swansea, died Friday, February 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday February 15, 2016 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Swansea with Rev. Deborah Gibson and Rev. Terry Wilder officiating.Burial will be in Melrose Memorial Gardens.The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 P.M. Mrs. Wise was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late James and Margaret Crider Whitaker.She was a lifelong resident of Swansea and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.She was married to the late John Henry Wise. Survivors include a son, O’Neal (Pat) Wise; a sister, Viola Davis; and a number of nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a brother, Roy Whitaker; and a sister, Alma Wilson. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) in North.
