Roy T. Corbett

Roy T. Corbett, 57, of Pelion, died Saturday.. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Neeses Baptist Church with Rev. Darryl Boyleston officiating.Burial will be in Neeses Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Mackie Tyler, Joey Brurok, Olin Williams, Mark Stevenson, Lester Williams, and John Ott. Mr. Corbett was born in Orangeburg, S.C., a son of the late F. F. (Tally) and Ophelia (Dook) Tyler Corbett.He was a carpenter and a member of Neeses Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Janice S. Corbett of the home; one son, Jason A. (Amber) Corbett of Pelion; two grandchildren, Braxton and Ada Leigh Corbett of Pelion; one sister, Delaine (Keith) Bartsch of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Joseph M. (Joe) Corbett of Neeses; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home at 459 Bub Shumpert Road, Pelion.
