Ronald Carlyle Bolin

Ronald Bolin, 71, of Neeses, S. C. passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 8, at 2:00 PM at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Jumper officiating.Burial will follow in Springfield Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Rocky Reed, Trey Reed, Philip Smith, Jeffery Bolin, Royce McLester, and Dusten Bolin. Mr. Bolin was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Carlyle Jacob and Iva Williams Bolin.Mr. Bolin served in the US Army Reserves, was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved his dog Ginger.He was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Sandy (Harry, Jr.) Reed of North; two brothers, Wayne (Carolyn) Bolin of North and Farrell (Debbie) Bolin of Burns, Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews.Mr. Bolin was predeceased by lifelong friend, James Floyd Gleaton. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Saturday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com)and at the home of his sister, Sandy Reed.
