Rodell Williams of Springfield, a beautiful and loving mama, passed away on August 2, 2014.She was devoted to her 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.They were blessed to have this funny, smart, hardworking, kind and caring woman in their lives. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North, SC, with funeral services at Willow Swamp Baptist Church in Norway at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, led by Pastor Jason Metcaff, with burial in the church cemetery.Pallbearers are Jason Rutland, Taylor Hallman, Timmy Barr, Russell Jones, Greg Waugh, John David Steverson, and Robert Hallman.Family and friends may also call at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Cindy Hallman at 7726 Neeses Hwy., Springfield. She is survived by two sons, Jerry and (Cindy) Hallman and Roy and (Robyn) Hallman; three daughters, Terry Hallman, Vivian and (Roy) Rutland and Julie and (Greg) Waugh.She enjoyed a special and close relationship with her daughters-in-law who helped take great care of her.Her seven grandchildren will always have their memories of fearless Granny, Her wisdom and wisecracking observations.Her grandchildren are Jason and Brian (who preceded her in death) Rutland, Brittany, Taylor and (Tiffany), and Samantha Hallman, Holli Pender and Addie Waugh, with three great-grandchildren, Daniel and Brianna Rutland and Bentley Hallman. She was the Daughter of the Late Herbert and Edna Williams of Norway, born on August 21, 1939 and was raised with her eight siblings, Helen Williams, Odell (her twin) Williams, Wayne Williams, Sarah Bonnette (who preceded her in death), Sandra Steverson, Wanda Roland, Freda Wrobel and Nina Cook.She was formerly married to the late Roy F. Hallman, Sr. of Springfield.She had a large family with many nieces and nephews.She cared for and rescued many stray animals through the years and was a friend to all.
