Ricky Darrell Hartley

Ricky Darrell Hartley, 66, of Swansea, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Providence Baptist Church (75 Providence Rd., Orangeburg, SC 29118) with the Rev. Kimmett Lott officiating.Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hartley was born in Salley, S.C. a son of the late Harvey Hartley and the late Janet Whittle Hartley.Mr. Hartley loved the outdoors and was a member of Elloree Hunting Club and was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan. He was a retired welder from Kline Iron and Steel and later worked for Cayce Steel. Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Patsy” Jumper Hartley; sons, Eric (Vanessa) Hartley and Brandon Hartley; granddaughters, Jada Hatcher, Lakin Hartley and Lainey Hartley; siblings, James (Sandra) Hartley, Rose Smith and Johnny Hartley and a number of nieces and nephews.Mr. Hartley was predeceased by siblings, Robert Hartley, Joanne Inabinet, Gracie Day, Claudia Williams, Linda Nelms and Clark Hartley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home and other times at the home of Andy and Vicky Jumper, 2459 Redmond Mill Ct., Swansea, S. C. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North is assisting the family.
