Rhine Hoffman

Rhine Hoffman, 89, of North, SC passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, at Sardis Baptist Church in Swansea.Pastor Dean Reynolds will be officiating.The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. Mr. Hoffman was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late A. E. Hoffman and the late Francis Hoffman. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Betty Spires Hoffman, a son, Russell (Doris) Hoffman, a daughter, Sheila (Terry) Collins, grandchildren, Kim (Mike), Kristi (Devan), Andrew (Kaitlynn), Katie (Earl), Patrick (Ashley), Cody (Ashley) and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Hoffman was predeceased by a son, Ricky Hoffman, his brothers, and sisters. Mr. Hoffman was known by many as “Bully” and affectionately known as “Pop” by his family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Lexington Community Hospice House - Agape Care.
