Reginald D. Jeffcoat

Reginald D. Jeffcoat, 75, of Swansea, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home with Rev. Erskine Shivers officiating.Burial will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Jeffcoat was born in Columbia, a son of the late Herbert Cleo and Virgie Lee Wise Jeffcoat.He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Gleaton Jeffcoat of the home; one son, Carroll (Michelle) Jeffcoat of Swansea; one grandson, Reggie (Tina) Jeffcoat of Gaston; two great-grandchildren, Khalil and Deacon Jeffcoat; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North and other times at the home of his son, Carroll Jeffcoat, 2065 St. Matthews Road, Swansea. Memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church.
