R. L. Williamson, 79, of Neeses, SC, died Monday, June 8, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Double Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Fanning officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 PM, one hour before the service. Mr. Williamson was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Rhett and Lillian Hutto Williamson.He served in the U.S. Air Force.He was a mechanic and earlier opened Neeses Gulf and Livingston Food Mart.Mr. Williamson was an avid fisherman and loved gardening.He was married to the late JoAnn Miller Williamson. Survivors include his children, Ronnie Lee Williamson, Terry Gene Williamson, Tammy Lillian Williamson and son-in-law, Bill Jackson; grandchildren, Rawn Williamson, Kellie Williamson, Austin Williamson, Travis Jackson, Lauren Caddell, Ryan Williamson, Scott Boltin and Aaron Boltin and a number of great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy “Joe” Hutto, James “Rock” Williamson, Janice Hair.He was predeceased by a daughter, Rhonda Williamson Jackson and siblings, Eva Wright, Harold Williamson, Willard Williamson, Jewel Ann Proveaux and Emmette Williamson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com).
