Phillip Dallas Bessinger

Phillip Dallas Bessinger, 70, of Pelion, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Davis officiating.The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Mr. Bessinger was born in Beaufort, SC, a son of the late Dallas Berlin and Myrtle Hutto Bessinger.He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathy M. Bessinger; children, Cindy (James Whiteside) Bessinger, Shirley Bessinger, Paul (Sharon Petty) Bessinger, Curtis (Keisha Petty) Bessinger and Karlie (Zach) Mobley; grandchildren, Matthew Bessinger, Tripp Irick, Shannon Bessinger, Tyler Bessinger, Taylor Mobley, Ryan Mobley, Elliott Mobley, Caleb Bessinger, and Cameron Nawmon; great-grandchildren, Autumn Spinger, Brantley Kirkland, and Nick Kirkland.He was predeceased by a son, Donald Bessinger; granddaughter, Samantha Dillon; and a brother, Wayne Bessinger.
