Percy Webster Barefoot, Jr.

Percy Webster Barefoot, Jr., 74, of Swansea, S. C. passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Barefoot was born in Lexington County, a son of the late Percy Webster Barefoot, Sr. and the late Vennie Lee Friendly Barefoot.  He was a wonderful father of four, a high school football star, Vietnam Veteran, Green Beret Medic, Master Builder, a member of Broad River Lodge #377 and Jamil Shrine Temple.  He was much loved by his aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his children, Percy W. (Jennifer) Barefoot, III, Bonnie Barefoot (Frank Dunlap), Clifton Barefoot and Brooke Thomas; seven grandchildren, Marlene Barefoot, Chance Barefoot, Dazia Barefoot, Kaylee Wiles, Kyra Liles, Harper Barefoot and Malakai Brooks Paramore; one great grandson, Kai Daniels; aunts, Barbara Campbell, Mary Alice Barfield and Betty Huckabee and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, two sisters, three uncles and one aunt.
