Patsy Mae Spires

Patsy Mae Spires, 69, of Swansea, died Tuesday, August, 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Johnny Slice officiating.Burial will be in Ebenezer UMC Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Ms. Spires was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late L. B. Tindal and Leila Mae Smith Tindal.Ms. Spires was retired from Devro/Teepak. Survivors include four children, Jerry (Debbie) Spires, Susan (Brian) Rish, James (Kim) Spires and Patsy Massey; a special niece, Rachel (Bill) Weeks; brother, Lester Tindal; sister, Lib Smith; grandchildren, Dustin (Brittany) and Jack Spires, Kimberly Elchlepp, Devin and Brooke Spires, Jake (Emily) and Casey Rish and three great-grandchildren, McKenzie Brown, Bryson Spires and Landon Rish.She was pre-deceased by a son, Terry Spires. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home of Ms. Spires, 659 Martin Neese Road, Swansea.
