Patricia D. Sharpe

Patricia D. "Patty" Sharpe, 50, of Gaston, went to meet Jesus on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Gaston, S.C. with the Rev. Larry Harrison and Rev. Ray Boone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Andrew Sightler, Tony Sightler, Jeramy Sightler, Ken Sharpe, Rex Sightler, and Dean Sightler. Mrs. Sharpe was the loving wife of Charles T. Sharpe and beloved mother of Rebecca A. O'steen Reynolds (Mike Hopkins) and Kevin A. O'steen. She was the daughter of Martha Louise Pate Martin of West Columbia and William D. Day, Jr. of Gaston. Survivors include her husband and children of Gaston; grandchildren, Kirstin M. O'steen and Gavin K. Reynolds; four brothers, the late Gary Wayne Martin, William T. (Tommy) Day, Brad A. Day, and William D. Day III; special family members, Pam Day, Heather Smith and Kevin McCaston; and extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday Feb. 3rd at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North, S.C. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Compassionate Care Hospice and all the family and friends who have been with them through this very difficult time.
