Owen W. "Bo" Priester, Jr.

Owen W. “Bo” Priester, Jr., 93, of Orangeburg, S. C. passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Priester Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, 4541 Savannah Highway, North, S. C. 29112. Mr. Priester was born in Hampton County, a son of the late Owen W. Priester, Sr. and the late Marie Corbin Priester. Mr. Priester was a proud U.S. Marine, took pictures of the Atomic Bomb, loved playing gospel music on his guitar, very spiritual, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Stainback; grandchildren, Tabitha (Clay) Ball, Lizzy (Tony) Weatherford, John Westbury, Jr., Thomas Westbury, Jason Jolly and Tina Tappana; and six great grandchildren. Mr. Priester was predeceased by his wife, Faye A. Priester and a daughter, Judy Jolly. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home is assisting the family.
