Ora Pound Davis, 67, of Gaston, died Monday, August 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Gaston with Dr. Larry Harrison officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Mrs. Davis was born in Jackson, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Ashby and Eva Lee Lloyd Pound.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gaston and was married to the late William Allan Davis. Survivors include her sister, Sandra (Jimmy) Watts of Gaston; brother-in-laws, David (Lynda) Haun of Hanahan, John Haun of Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Joanna (Keith) Chandler of Greenville.She was predeceased by a daughter, Samantha Leigh Moore. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday at First Baptist Church of Gaston before the service.
