Mildred L. Williams, 83, of North, died Saturday, Oct. 19. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at North Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Robbie Parnell officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Walter Cook, Chuck Cook, John Knight, Clay Poole, Rusty Walling, and Reggie Walling. Mrs. Williams was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Perry and Virginia Spires Lawson. She was a member of North Pentecostal Holiness Church.She was married to the late Basil Williams. Survivors include six children, Irvin (Debra) Williams of Chesterfield, Gwen (Harold) Williams of Cayce, Angie (Charlie) Beckham of Lexington, Deborah (Doug) Salley of Cayce, Donna Williams of West Columbia, and Keith (Claire) Williams of North; grandchildren Jason Williams, Jody (Hillary) Sturkie, Allison (Jamie) Blizzard, Amanda (Nate) Chisom, Tate (Natalie) Salley, Patrick Williams, Charlie Beckham II, Brad (Julie) Beckham, Troy (Lynn) Williams, and Tracy (Amanda) Williams; twelve great-grandchildren;two sisters Leatha Poole of Swansea and Hazel Walling of Aiken, and one brother, Ray Lawson of Hendersonville, N.C.
