Michelle Lee Sturkie Roberts

Michelle Lee Roberts, 48, of Swansea, S. C. passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, 100 State Rd. S-38-819 (Trinity Church Road), North, S. C. 29112 with Rev. Eric Jeffcoat officiating.  The family will receive friends at the graveside and other times at the home of James and Mary Sue Peele.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Orangeburg, S. C., a daughter of Jewel H. Sturkie, Jr. and Wanda Chavis Sturkie.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Pee Dee Indian Nation.  Michelle loved her animals.

Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bubba” Peele; four children, Leila Parrish Rankin, Christian Danielle “Danni” (Morgan) Still, Tyler Hill and Katie Ann Roberts; three grandchildren, Nora Rankin, Lily Rankin and Waylon Still; sisters, Mary Sue (James) Peele and Delaine (Kenny) Buff; two nieces, Lorene Peele and Madison Bryant and one nephew, James “Bud” Peele.
