Michael M. Enfinger, 46, of Swansea, died Thursday, September 26, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Sardis Baptist Church in Swansea with Rev. Mark Hardenbrook and Rev. Deborah Gibson officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Anson Harding, Ronald Hill, Bryan Wright, Richard Lee, Andy Kirkland and James Yon. Mr. Enfinger was born in Columbia, the son of Peggy Ann Hoffman McIver and the late William M. Enfinger of Swansea.He was a member of the Air National Guard and formerly worked for Richland County Sheriff’s office and at McEntire Air National Guard Base.He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and also attended Calvary United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Makala Enfinger and a son, Michael E. Enfinger, both of Swansea.His mother and step-father, Grady McIver of Swansea, one step-sister, Fran Harding of North Augusta and his grandmother, Edis Mae Hoffman of Swansea. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, at the church before the service and other times at the home of Mrs. Edis Mae Hoffman, 239 Myrtle Wise Road in Swansea.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
