Michael James Crim, Sr. 70, of Swansea, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
A celebration of life service at his home will be held at a later date.
Mr. Crim was born in Providence, Rhode Island, a son of the late Jacob Martin and Jean Louise Lowe Crim. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Sandy Run Volunteer Fire Department in Calhoun County and also Station 18 in Lexington County. He was a wonderful warrior husband and a very loving and caring father and Pa. Mr. Crim retired from Ft. Jackson after 37 years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Elizabeth Anne Ellisor Crim; sons, Hampton Cohen (Delora) Heape and Michael James (Melissa) Crim, Jr.; sisters, Patricia Anne Brown and Cathy Peele; and also five grandchildren, Tommie Leanne Heape, Hunter Russell Crim, Kinzleigh Grace Crim, Kenadee Heape and Kammie Heape.
