Ms. Melba Louise Knox,85, of Gaston, SC died Saturday, June 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2016 at New Hope Worship Center, Gaston, SC with the Rev. Lynn Bryant officiating and assisted by Rev. Ashton Feagan.Burial will be in Celestial Memorial Gardens, West Columbia, SC.The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to service. Ms. Knox was born in Salley, SC.She was the daughter of the late Callie Gleaton and the late Elizabeth Chavis Gleaton. She was a retired seamstress. Survivors include a son William Terry (Carol Ann) Cooper and daughter a Karen (Gary) McDonald.She is also survived by a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Worship Center, Gaston, SC.
