Mattie Louise Parler

Mattie Louise Parler, 80, of Cope, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Darrell Wilkins. Mrs. Parler was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late John Henry and Mattie Lee Garrick Hebrard.She was married to the late Gordon B. Parler. Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Babs) Parler and John (Denice) Parler; daughters, Sandra Jeffords, Lisa Auxter and Joan Cumbee; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth (Charles) Murphy and Dianne (L.H.) Cooper.She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Tison; and a brother, William Hebrard. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pat Smalls, Geraldine Johnson, Hope Walling and Grove Park Hospice.
