Matt Rucker

Matt Rucker, Jr., 65, of Lexington, SC, died Thursday, July 17th2014. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church with graveside services following at 11:00 a.m. in the church cemetery with Rev. Allen Williams officiating. Mr. Rucker was born in Columbia a son of the late Matt and Ruth Carlton Rucker.He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.Mr. Rucker was a loving husband, father, grandfather and best friend to many people. Survivors include his wife, Georgianna Marie Polaski Rucker; two daughters, Stephanie Rosier-Rugman (Ben) and Diane McGee; 2 step-children, Stephen Polaski and Cherylann Williams(Mike); five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a sister, Betty Nguyen.
