Mrs. Mary Lewis R. Smith, 89, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Wilton Manor, Florida. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Melrose Memorial Gardens in Swansea, SC with Rev. Cindy Saylor officiating. Mrs. Smith was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late Lewis Oliver and Mary Rean Fort Rast.She was married to the late Lynbert E. Smith, Jr. and was a member of the Swansea United Methodist Church.Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Columbia College and was the owner and operator of Swansea Milling Company until she retired. Survivors include sons Sidney L. (Betty D.) Smith and Russell E. Smith; grandchildren, Ann Marie Smith (Jeff) Glazer and Bradon E. Smith; great-grandchildren, Coleman Lawrence Glazer and Cooper William Glazer and two sisters, Kathryn Rast Williams and Sally Rast Williams.
