Mary S. Williams, 92, of Swansea, SC, died Friday, October 16, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 19, 2015 at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 W. Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC with Rev. Terry Wilder officiating. Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Arthur C. Sharpe and Alice Roberts Sharpe.She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Fritz A. Williams.She was a member of Swansea First Baptist Church. Survivors include her stepmother, Sarah Sharpe of Columbia; children, Myra (Wendell) Jordan of Summerville, Sandra (Benny) Shivers of Travelers Rest, Al (Carolyn) Williams of West Columbia and Stephen Williams of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Sally Jacobs of Chapin, Margaret Sharpe of Swansea, Francis Scott and Cheryl (Glenn) Sherman of Columbia and a brother, Rev. Dr. Jack (Meredith) Sharpe of Lakeland, Florida.Mrs. Williams was predeceased by brothers, Carlyle Sharpe and Arthur Sharpe and sisters, Pearl Nates, Ruth Kind and Susie Bass.
