Mary Ruth Jeffcoat, 79, of Swansea, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Life Springs Worship Center, 5630 Platt Springs Road, Lexington, SC 29073 with Pastor Eric Jeffcoat officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 P.M., before the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Sharon Crossroads United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Elvin (Wanda) Jeffcoat, Eric (Debbie) Jeffcoat, Sharon (Bruce) Taylor and Samantha Jeffcoat; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a special niece, Diane Ward; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Elvin Jeffcoat; parents, Tom Lee Chavis, Sr. and Leila Wingard Chavis; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.
