Mary Margaret Hughes

Mary Margaret Hughes, 74, of Swansea, died Monday, March 24, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North with Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Mrs. Hughes was born in Horry County a daughter of the late Clarence Bernard and Helen Marie Prince Powers.She was married to the late David A. (Gator) Hughes and was predeceased by two brothers, James Powers and William Powers. Survivors include three daughters, Rose Craft of Lexington, Terry Lynn Hughes of Tennessee and Mary Stoudt of Swansea; two sons, Tony Hughes of West Columbia and Ronnie (Froggy) Hughes of Gaston; one sister, Jean Scott of Aiken; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Culler-McAlhany Funeal Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) before the service
