Mary Elizabeth Cook Peele

Mary Elizabeth Cook Peele, 84, of The Oaks, died Sunday, December 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 6822 North Road, North, SC 29112 with Rev. Larry Davis officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Gene Peele, Ken Peele, Jason Gamble, Eric Bright, Chandler Markley and Marvin Fields. Mrs. Peele was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Ken Henry Cook and Annie Blond Strickland Cook.Mrs. Peele was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and the widow of the late Harold Peele.She was the most loving mother to her children and parented many others who were part of her life.Her advice was something one didn’t have to request because she gave it freely, with love.Mrs. Peele was a retired supervisor with Ambler Industries. Survivors include two sons, Kenny (Violet) Peele and Marc (Alashea) Peele; one daughter, Becky (Mark) McCravy; grandchildren, Gene Peele, Ken Peele, Kara Bright, Brandy Gamble, Jamie Buckland and Chandler Markley, a number of great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews and one brother, Gene Gartman.She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Jean Peele. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Fellowship Baptist Church and other times at the home of Becky McCravy, 2630 Bull Swamp Road, North, SC.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) is assisting the family.
