Marilynn Williams Chambley, 58, of Livingston, passed away peacefully on Dec. 14, 2013, after a nine-year courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Livingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Fulmer officiating.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North. The casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be nephews Michael, Gregg and Randy Dyches, Phil Myers, George Widener, Tristan Lindsey. Ms. Chambley was born in Livingston Feb. 25, 1955, a daughter of Eloise Bailey Williams and the late Tracy Williams.She was employed by the IRS for 24 years.She was a graduate of North High School and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College and attended the University of South Carolina. She was an active member of Livingston United Methodist Church and the UMW Society.She enjoyed mastering crossword puzzles, reading, hot weather, and spoiling her nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews and spending time with her family. Survivors include her mother, Eloise Williams; sister, Patricia (Mackie) Tyler; brothers, Harold (Gwen) Williams and Jimmie (Frances) Dyches; special nieces, Trudy Barr, Tracey Myers, Tara Tyler, and Tasha Widener; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and a number of aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her father, Tracy Williams, and great-nephew Logan Tyler Barr. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mackie Tyler, 1232 Silversprings Road, Livingston.
