Marian Dowd Fallaw

Marian Dowd Fallaw, 93, of Gaston, S. C. passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 3, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Gaston, 121 Oakey Springs Road, Gaston, S. C. 29053 with Rev. Brady Henderson and Pastor Luke Beasley officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Fallaw was born in Swansea, S. C., a daughter of the late John Hoyt Dowd and the late Elva Smith Dowd.  Mrs. Fallaw was a member of First Baptist Church of Gaston and leaves a legacy of faith to her family and friends.

Survivors include a son, John Fallaw; two daughters, Kathy Fallaw and Pamela (Bobby) Spires; daughter-in-law, Kay Fallaw; grandchildren, Kim (Will) Reynolds, Tonya (Brandon) Huseby, Jeremy (Liz) Fallaw, Michelle Fallaw and Amber (Les) Peel; 7 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Hoyt (Emma Lee) Dowd, Thomas (Patsy) Dowd and William Dowd.  Mrs. Fallaw was predeceased by her husband, Hoyt R. Fallaw, son, Dwayne Hoyt Fallaw, daughter-in-law, Janet Ray Fallaw and granddaughter, Adrienne Nicole Fallaw.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, 4541 Savannah Highway, North, S. C. 29112.
