Marcus O’Neal Walling, 78, of North, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at North Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Sammy Hutto and Rev. Roger Smoak officiating.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mr. Walling was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Marcus Elexander and Savannah Melissa Williams Walling.He was a retired truck driver and was married to the late Betty Louise Bolin Walling. Survivors include his children, James Walling, Nancy Walling Richardson, Martin Walling, Jack walling and Katie Walling; brothers, Kelly Walling and Quinton “Noopy” Walling; sisters, Althea Woodward, Frances Davis and Marianna Stone; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by a son, Marcus Eugene Walling; grandson, Joseph Brett Walling; brothers Granville Walling, William “Billy” Walling, Joe Walling, Richard Walling, Chester Walling and Robert Walling; and sisters, Betty Davis, Dessie Mae Jeffcoat, Ruby Dunn and Kattie Walling. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) in North.
