Maggie Rosa Williams Kinney, 92, of Neeses, died Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at North Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Robbie Parnell and Rev. Ashton Feagin officiating.Burial will be in Kinney Memorial Gardens.The casket will be placed in the church at 3:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Christopher Theodore, Scottie Jones, Jr., Ray Hoover, Dale Theodore, Corey Mize, Craig Hiott and Justin Scott. Mrs. Kinney was born in Orangeburg County a daughter of the late Acey V. and Della Hoover Williams.She was retired from Stone Manufacturing Company and was a member of North Pentecostal Holiness Church.She was honored at a luncheon as the last and oldest daughter of a Confederate soldier in South Carolina.She was married to the late Robert J. Kinney. Survivors include three daughters, Betty Knight, Janice Hiott and Alice Chavis; granddaughter/daughter, Teresa Allman and grandson/son, Richard Tutherow all of Neeses; a son-in-law, Larry Chavis; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a son, James “Skippy” Grimes and his wife Patricia Grimes; a daughter, Barbara Chavis and a son-in-law, Tommy Hiott, Sr.She was the last of her siblings. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 13 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home of her daughter, Janice Hiott, 668 Fire Tower Road, Neeses. Memorials may be made to North Pentecostal Holiness Church.
